I've noticed that merchants give receipts for everything here in Germany- right down to a cup of coffee. I haven't quite figured out how to say I don't need them, so they continued to pile up in my wallet. Finally I had to have a receipt intervention and clean my poor wallet out.
Last night Greg got home from the away game at 2am. Normally I am not able to sleep when he's not here, but last night I fell asleep around 1am and didn't wake up until he threw a stick at the bedroom window at 2:30am. Oops!
Today is a lazy Saturday for us. It's pretty cold out today (high of 48, not that I've been checking obsessively to see if it'll warm up or anything) and this morning brought an unwelcome rain shower. The combination of the cold and the rain is not good for my joints. Been in more pain that usual today, which is frustrating, but I'm going to boil up a cup of tea and curl up and watch a movie.
