Critters

Funny story that involves a bathroom scene. If you are TMI sensitive, maybe skip this paragraph. So, yesterday during meditation class, I left to go pee. The bathroom is right below the yoga shala, and meditation is quiet, so they can pretty much hear anything that goes on. Everyone pees, so whatever. So I'm done, and I reach to get some toilet paper and out jumps the most GIANT frog ever. He must have been hanging out on the toilet roll, resting on the paper and between the plastic kimberley-clark cover. He jumped so fast and so high and landed DIRECTLY ON MY LEG!!!!! So I screamed because I was so caught off guard, and of course most likely disturbed the entire meditation class. Ohhh, Thailand and your little critters.

Speaking of critters, there are stray cats everywhere. I'm not a cat person at all (that's actually the biggest understatement of the year), but I can't help but smile at little kittens. So here's one I saw today. (My photography skills are getting better, eh?!) Anyway, I feel badly for these cats because they are skin fur and bones and just cryyyy all day.

This weekend is special because we've got today (Saturday) and tomorrow off as well- a break my body desperately needs. A few of the participants are going into town to check out the night market and explore a bit, but I'm explored out. I need rest and relaxation. A few of us with decent cameras have discussed doing a photo sesh sometime this weekend for promotional use on our websites, business cards, etc., so I'm looking forward to that.
