Still Recovering

Apologies for my blogging hiatus. I'm still trying to recovery from jet lag/lyme issues. Looking at the pic above, you'd never know what was going on. Usually it's worse in the mornings and nights- my joints crack when I move, the pain is deep in my bones and I want to jump out of my skin. My muscles ache and send shooting pains down my arms and through my back. And then I pop two advil (used to need three!) and it takes the edge off so I can feel semi normal and go for a walk, or out to lunch, or to the mall to walk Buckles with Greg on a rainy day. Most mornings begin in tears from this new muscle/join issue, but usually I am much better in the afternoon. I can only stay positive and believe it will go away soon. As it is, it's Saturday now and it's a lot better than on Monday and Tuesday, so I feel like we're making progress, albeit at the rate of a snail. No matter, progress is progress.
Here are my two boys the other day at the mall when it was raining. Per usual, the Buckman was a big hit, and we met lots of really nice people.

In other news, Greg had a suspicious looking mole removed the other day, so he's recovering as well...although he's recovering more from the trauma of how bad the stitches are than the actual pain of the mole removal. The regular doctor is on vacation for three weeks, so we got the back up, and let's just say the back up doc could use some sewing classes. Not pretty. Poor Greg. Although he will have a fantastic scar that'll merit a good story behind it, so we should start brainstorming.

He also had gone to the dentist for a cleaning (I was supposed to go do but literally could barely move from joint/muscle pain, so I stayed home). The dentist scraped his teeth, and then said he didn't need x-rays since he had them last year, and sent him on his way. Ha! So different from the x-ray-hungry dentists in the states!

And that's really all I've got. Just feeling run down now, having come back from going out to lunch and to get some groceries. I'll rest a bit, and see what I'm up for after. Send us some healing vibes! :)
