We had a great time in Charleston, all topped off by a wonderful dinner at my friend's house. Her boyfriend is a chef, so we ate like kings. I can now check off quail eggs and blood orange carrots on the list of foods I've had.
Quick funny story: it was so hot out when we were walking around downtown that when we spotted a man hosing down the sidewalk we asked him if he wouldn't mind giving Buckles a quick spray down. The guy was like, "Are you serious?" And we nodded (Buckles, too!). And then, the following picture:
We're now in Florida. Our house is great!! Big fenced in back yard for the beast, three bedrooms, and an open floor plan that we love. We're three blocks to the beach. Equally close is a giant grocery store, a starbucks, a bunch of yoga studios and gyms- everything we need. So glad to finally be staying put for a while.
