Week 2

Sorry for not writing as much- we have our routine down and there's not much to write about!

We get up at 6:20 every morning (ok, most mornings) and we have a shake, and head to the beach where Greg runs Buckles and I do yoga. Lately my cousin Emily has been joining me a couple mornings a week, and it's been such a great way to start the day.

Then we head home, eat breakfast and relax. A couple hours later we have a shake and go to the gym. Then we have lunch, relax for a bit and then go to the beach again with Buckles for his evening walk. Then we have dinner and usually watch a show (Shark Tank is a current favorite) and go to bed.

Great start to our summer break!

Today Greg is at TPC (golf thing) and I'm going to just read and lay low. My body is pretty sore from the last few days so a rest day is in order I think.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. Hey there, hope you remember me. I was posting here a lot when you were in Germany (Blacky). I am glad you guys have a great time. Hope you enjoyed your time in Germany.

You inspired me to start Yoga and despite the fact that I love boxing and stuff like that I LOVE Yoga. Hope to be able to do the scorpion one day (everybody needs dreams right?).

What shakes do you guys drink? I tried to find a good one overhere in the US and haven`t really found one. Do you guys use Almond Milk with it? I am using myofusion right now, but am still looking for a better option. If the container`s weren´t just as big...

  2. Of course I remember you!! We use metabolic drive that we order from t-nation.com. I like the chocolate kind. The vanilla is good too. I haven't tried the strawberry. I put 6 ice cubes, 1 scoop of metabolic drive protein powder, 12 ghiradelli dark chocolate chips (haha), 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk by blue diamond, and a small spoonful of almond butter. Then I put it in the blender for about 10 seconds. It is DELICIOUS. The metabolic drive protein powder is good because it has really low sugars and carbs- that's kind of the key to picking a good protein powder. I hope that helps!! :)

  3. Thanks so much for the hint!!! That is kinda funny I actually JUST read an article on tnation about the "britney spears syndrome" and really like that page. I will go ahead and order it. :)

Thanks so much!!! Have my third Yoga class today. Can't wait! It feels so good.
